Atopia’s “Golden Age” began in the early SQ33000s. There was lots of expansion, especially in Tirwan. Every honest Bolo could make a commercial living, taxes were low, and impressive public monuments large. The golden age ended when Atopia sunk more and more money into the war with Minak.
* Magi – early in Atopian history the Magi ‘came from the west’ (possibly off-world) and shared knowledge with the Atopians – but are no longer present.
* There were protests at the ATIC history exhibition in SQ34113 by Truth For Atopia, claiming Atopia is not owning up to its part in the military history of ATIC and the consequent strained relationship with Minak. The protestors stated it was no longer safe to be Minak on Atopia. The protests continued for 4 subquarters, resulting in a full lockdown from the government lasing 11 subquarters. There were severe restrictions on movement that were stricter on Minak and non-Tirwanians.  The unrest spread outside of Tirwan, leading to further restrictions. The lockdown ended with Shah X disbanding the government and calling a new election.

** In SQ34371 the university has undertaken a reciprocal academic arrangement with the University of Parmat.

** In SQ34371 - Reception area at the autopark side of the largest building. The road in has large direction signs including “Welcome to reception”. The university logo is everywhere. The bulk of the reception building is under a massive dome that was constructed in Tirwan’s golden age. The reception lobby is a sizeable, transparent, neoprene-constructed as an afterthought. It’s not as grand as the dome but pleasant in its own way, with leafy foliage in the spacious waiting area. There’s a bland office-grey counter with the university logo, behind which sits a neat clerk in a blue suit. There’s a sofa and small rainbows are cast on the ground from light through the neoprene. A set of double doors are next to the desk with a security panel for handhelds, followed by a corridor the same grey as the desk, parallel doors face each other across the hallway, each marked with a stylised number and the university logo next to a security panel. The corridor continues around a corner with more doors

* Pedestrianised with a loop road inside. Has a high dark purply-blue fence and trees. It’s hard to see inside the park from the road. There’s an autopark at the edge – past that is a busy ringroad that runs around the edge of Salmet. There is one entrance into the autopark, which leads to the loop inside the park – the loop goes past the splash pool and a small grove of trees with vid recorder on a pole.  There are four secvid recorders showing:
** The main road showing approach from Tirwan
** The autopark
** The play area in the park (swings with the loop behind them from back right to front left. Behind the swings in the distance is the pool in front of the fence that separates off the autopark)
** The splash pool in the park.
